Welcome to the Rescue A Golden's Cutest Golden Contest
When you click on the link below, (Pictures for the Cutest Golden Contest) you'll
see photos of Goldens submitted for our Cutest Golden Contest. The last day for submitting the photos is July 31st at 10:00
PM. Send the photos to dmills102@live.com, one
photo per dog but as many dogs as you like. The voting will begin August 1st..
There will be 6 finalists in the contest. Each finalist will be featured in one of the months of our
2011 calendar with special mention of the winner.
The dogs featured in
the calendar and the other prizes must be rescued Goldens from Rescue a Golden of AZ.. The winner will also be featured on
our main website, www.golden-retriever.org, and in a special article and pictures in our news letter. The winner will also be on our business
cards, return address labels and our Holiday Cards that will be on sale on our website in November. Most importantly, the
owner will have years of bragging rights!
Here's how it works.
1. Click on the link below (Pictures for the Cutest Golden
Contest). Then scroll down untill you find the dog you want to vote for.
2. Once you find the
dog write down the ID number located under the dog’s picture and click on any Vote link on that page. You'll be
transferred to the voting page.
3.
When you are transferred to the voting page, you'll see the words Cutest Golden Contest. Directly below
that is a scroll down arrow. Click on the arrow and scroll down until you see the ID number and the name of the
dog you want to vote for. Click on the ID number. Then put in the number of votes in the box to the left of the wording.
Continue to the check out process. If you want to vote for more than one dog click on the return to shopping link then
click again on the vote link and repeat the process. Make sure you hit the recalculate button before checking out.
4. You'll also notice above each picture the
word Votes. Every few days those numbers will be updated so we can all see who has the most votes.
5. Each vote is a donation of $1.00 and the minmum number of votes you can do is 5. You
can vote as much or as often as you want. You can also have friends and family members vote anytime anywhere.
6. The final day for submitting photos is July 31st at
10:00 PM PST. The finalist must have been rescued through Rescue a Golden of AZ. You do not have to be
a member of RAGofAZ. We would, however, like to have pictures of only Golden Retrievers.
7. On August 7th at 10PM, 20% of the photos (the ones
with the fewest votes) will be eliminated. All voting counts will be set to zero and the voting will start all over again.
8. The same thing will happen each
week thru August-- August 14th, 21st, and the 28th.
9. On the 29th there will be 6 finalists remaining and the voting will begin for the final round. All
vote counts will be set to zero and the voting will begin again.
10. The dead line for voting will be September
10th at 10 PM PST. The dog with the most votes at that time will be the winner.
11. All dates are subject to change
All proceeds from this contest go
directly to Rescue A Golden of Arizona. Each dollar we receive will benefit our dogs and help us to continue providing the
level of medical care that these incredible companions deserve.
